In celebration of Grandparents Day, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren of Brevard cordially invites you to join us at the 2nd Annual “The Child First” Gala. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 11th, 2010, at the Radisson Resort at the Port..
The proceeds from this fun-filled evening will be used to provide resources to relative caregivers and their families in Brevard County. GRG of Brevard Child First Program will use the proceeds for a variety of critical needs including emergency supplies for infants and children, mental health counseling, parenting classes, support groups and legal assistance to obtain custody of the children. There are currently 8,000 children being raised by grandparents and relative throughout Brevard County. This number would fill 10 of Brevard County Schools. Your support will make a dramatic difference in the lives of children in our community.
