Girls are Great - A celebration of growing up and understanding our changing bodies, will take place June 7th from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Titusville Knights of Columbus Hall. This event targets 9 to 12 year old girls and their interested adults with a program to help ease the transition from child to young woman in an informal and fun way. The program features a community resource fair, fashion show, teen rap session, parenting, crafts, and a registered nurse speaking in puberty for girls. This year's role model is Monique Brown. Admission is $3 for girls and accompanying adults are free. If two or more girls are from the same family the admission is only $5.
